470 Castro St
San Francisco, CA 94114
Join us for the second Shut Up and DRAW! A quiet place to Draw, be creative, doodle, sketch, and be among your fellow queers.
The Castro can be such a noisy chaotic place. You have loud music in the bars, loud music in the coffee shops, loud music in the stores. It’s hard to find a quiet space to just think and let your mind be creative. Shut Up and DRAW will provide a quiet space to come and let your mind run wild, quietly. The event is free. B.Y.O.S.P. (Bring Your Own Sketch Pad.) feel free to bring your own sketch pads, markers, color pencils or pens. We will also have some sexy and non sexy coloring books for folks to sit, color, and meditate. All art supplies are welcome as long as they do not make a mess, or stain our space. Some scratch paper, pens and color pencils will be provided for folks that don’t have their own.
Please Note: This will try to be a silent event. If you want to come later in the evening when we will have the social hour, come on by. Silent drawing from 7 to 8:30, Talking and drawing hour from 8:30 to 9:30 pm. If you have any questions about the event please feel free to contact Baruch, at email@example.com
We will have Glenn Ontiveros, a counselor from The Stonewall Project, to help get us into a creative head space.
