This group works with various authors and writings over time to explore topics related to harm reduction, healing, and overall well-being.
This cycle we explore the question of how do we live our best lives when continually overcome by fear, anxiety, and pain. Chödrön offers tools for transforming suffering and negative patterns into “habitual ease and boundless joy.”

About the Book: This guide aims to appeal to everyone. It argues that there is a fundamental opportunity for happiness right within our reach, yet we usually miss it – ironically, while we are caught up in attempt to escape pain and suffering. The author shows: ways to use painful emotions to cultivate wisdom, compassion and courage; ways to communicate that lead to openness and true intimacy with others; practices for reversing our negative habitual patterns; methods for working with chaotic situations; and ways to cultivate compassionate, energetic social action.
